About Constitution Matters

Modern-day politics can be challenging. In America, people - mostly the political class among us - often seek to circumvent the principles upon which the United States was founded. Quite often, loyalty to a political party or ideology tends to outweigh faithfulness to those founding principles. Unfortunately, much of the citizenry is unaware of what the U. S. Constitution says or how the principles laid out in that document apply in any given political circumstance.

Here at Constitution Matters, we dig deep into the history of the U. S. Constitution, offering insight into constitutional principles via a series of videos that help make the complex easy to understand. We provide insight into both the text of the U. S. Constitution and the reasoning employed by the founding fathers as they planted the seeds of a new republic.

Beyond the videos, we also offer informational articles as a matter of additional instruction. At times those articles will consider current political events, delving into the constitutional principles that should be applied in any given situation.
